If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll probably have noticed a recurring trend in chocolate and peanut butter themed foods on my blog. 🙂 These Peanut butter cup oats combines my two faves and it makes for a great start to the day. Apparently chocolate can act as an antidepressant and mood booster so this is literally the happiest breakfast you could ever make! Not only does this taste like a dessert but it’s full of goodness too.
The peanut butter packs a nice punch of healthy fats while the oats bulk up the fibre content of the meal. A big bowl of peanuty, chocolatey goodness will keep you full & satisfied for hours! (and that’s rare for me so that’s saying somethin’ 😛 ) If you want to add some extra protein you could add a scoop of chocolate protein powder to the oats after cooking.
All you need is 5 simple ingredients and 1 bowl.
